Soda Can Caddy- DIY challenge Day Two

This is a Quick project (other then watching the paint dry) And will cost you nothing if you have bits of leftover paint sitting around like I do, I have a fondness for spray paint. it will transform so many things!

  • 6 soda or Beer cans
  • Can opener
  • Hole punch
  • Spray paint in color of choice
  • Hot glue Gun
  • Craft wire or coat hanger
  • Any desired embellishment

Step One – Using a can opener take all the top off the cans, it is amazing how easy this is and leaves a finished edge.

Step Two – Punch a hole at the top (See photo) using the hole punch, of four of your cans.

Step Three – Take into well ventilated area or outside, and spray paint all your cans. You can skip this step if you like the look of your cans.

Step Four – Arrange your cans so the holes you punched are facing each other at both ends of caddy. See photo

Step Five – Hot glue them together.

Step Six – Cut lenth of wire to desired handle size, mine is 19 inch including the turned up ends.  Attach wire through holes.

Step Seven –  Embellish as desired!
