Tender Pork Riblets – Crock Pot recipe

Tender Pork Riblets

Tender Pork Riblets

Oh my! these Pork Riblets are amazing!
Moist Tender and full of favor!

I use my Crock Pot all the time and often I will just throw a jar of my homemade BBQ sauce over the top of the ribs and let them go all day, and that’s great too, but there’s just something about those dry rub spices blending and doing their thing all day that makes this special, and the added flavor from the onion doesn’t hurt either!

  • 2-3 lb Pork Riblets
  • 1 Onion chopped
Dry Rub
  • 1/3 C brown sugar
  • 1 TBS paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 3/4 tsp oregano, dried and crushed
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 tsp sugar

Chop Onion and place on the bottom of crock pot.
Mix together all spices and sugars and coat Riblets, you can throw the riblets in the bowl you mixed the dry rub in or throw it all in a bag and shake.
Place riblets over Onions.
Set Crock pot on low for 6 hours.
